Celebrating a decade in the industry, Damon Albarn's virtual virtuosos Gorillaz have laced together a career that proves they were no bunch of muppets.
Hard to believe that 10 years have passed really, makes you question where that time and all that beer went! When you think about it, Gorillaz have experienced great success for what is more a project in music than a conventional band.
The likes of Danger Mouse, Shawn Ryder, De La Soul, Snoop Dogg have endorsed Gorillaz, plus nabbing a Jim Henson Creativity Honor was cool too.
With hits including the likes of "Clint Eastwood", "Feel Good Inc" and "Kids With Guns" blasted at TAG nights in the early days, we always knew this loony tunes army was a contender for the best singles act in town.
Time to revisit the groovy twists and turns from this wild bunch. A reminder that this is a group of cartoon characters whose music should be be taken very seriously, indeed. And yes, lace up, we got to do the superfast jellyfish ...
Pre-order the Converse x Gorillaz Chuck Taylors collab between the 15th to 24th of February to receive invites to the exclusive launch party hosted by Twilight Actiongirl @Barsonic, Zouk KL.

TAKE home The Strokes 'Angles" and The Vaccines' 'What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?' CDs on the night, courtesy of Sony Music.
WHY settle for one indie rock 'n' roll party highlight when you can have two? That sounds like a plan. TAG rolls out NYC's finest The Strokes' fourth album "Angles" as well as London newcomers The Vaccines' "What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?" in a three hour "maximum guitar action" set starting 10pm. All The Strokes, all The Vaccines you need. NYC v London, and a dancefloor waiting for a (ra ra ra) riot.
After a two year hiatus that started in 2007, the return of The Strokes comes as a welcome relief for their loyal following who are rewarded with some of their best work. Frontman Julian Casablancas' trademark cool vocals are as effective as ever, while the music blends sharp riffs with the kind of roughness fans have come to expect.
Influenced by the likes of The Ramones and The Stooges, London-based four-piece The Vaccines release their debut album 'What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?' Hotly tipped as part of the BBC Sound of 2011 poll, The Vaccines prove what all the fuss has been about with a record boiling with attitude and energy, featuring the singles 'Post Break-up Sex,' 'Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)' and 'Blow It Up'.
